Role Expectations
- Lead and contribute to client engagements focused on cost reduction, EBITDA improvement, SG&A optimization, and operational transformation
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify performance gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to working sessions with COO/CFO and other executives, private equity sponsors, and other stakeholders
- Build financial models, scenario analysis, and KPI reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations and help implement process improvements across finance and operations
- Prepare high-quality presentations, analyses, and executive-ready deliverables
- Manage workstreams and junior team members, ensuring quality execution and timely delivery
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate data-analysis, research, and data visualization
- Contribute to practice development efforts, including recruiting, training, client pitches, and thought leadership initiatives
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience 3-8 years of experience in management consulting, operational improvement, corporate strategy, or a related field
- Prior experience in strategy & operations consulting, banking, corporate strategy, private equity portfolio operations or private equity backed portfolio company
- Exposure to PE-backed companies or private credit environments is a plus
- Experience in restructuring or turnaround contexts (e.g., A&M, AlixPartners, FTI) doing performance improvement work is a plus
- Sector experience in manufacturing, business services, consumer products, industrials, healthcare, or logistics and supply chain preferred but not required
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel financial modeling
- Solid understanding of operational drivers across manufacturing, logistics, services, or consumer businesses
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
- High energy, intellectual curiosity, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate data-analysis, research, and data visualization
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field required
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
- Leverage Lean, Six Sigma, or supply chain credentials a plus
Other
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed based on project requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Pay
$90,000 to $160,000 per year.
