About the role
The Lead Consultant will successfully deliver projects for clients as a member of project teams within a market program. This includes supporting the project manager by leading small teams initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. The position also involves maintaining relationships with clients and key decision-makers to help identify follow-on business opportunities and maintain customer intelligence.
While the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager with defining and sequencing project tasks, estimating task duration, and developing a project schedule as part of a project management plan.
- Review project management plans to understand the scope, schedule, and assigned work authorization.
- Plan and schedule client meetings.
- Lead client and task-team meetings.
- Lead small task teams in executing project tasks.
- Assist with research and data analysis, including conducting customer or stakeholder analyses.
- Prepare written documents, reports, and presentations.
- Develop conclusions and recommendations, write reports, and assist with client presentations.
- Give oral presentations to clients.
- Track and report hours spent executing projects.
- Work with individuals at all levels, provide input to reports and other deliverables, execute multiple assignments, meet agreed deadlines, and adjust to changing client demands.
- Perform quality assurance on project deliverables.
- Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate new business development.
- Identify new business opportunities with existing customers for current and/or additional services.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Skills

- Ability to perform research and provide analysis on research performed.
- Effectively gather and analyze data.
- Apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems.
- Comprehend and analyze complex problems.

- Ability to obtain a working knowledge of ABS Health, safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
Pay
$77k - $87k
Reporting Relationships
Could report to the Project Manager, Program Manager, or a more senior-level Consultant.
