Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry, Easter Ross and Sutherland

About the role

We seek to appoint a self-motivated Clinician with an enthusiasm for General Adult Community Psychiatry to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland. This post offers the opportunity to be a Psychiatrist to a population covering rural and urban communities across Easter Ross and Sutherland.

Responsibilities

• Supports the delivery of a community mental health service using digital technology
• Works within a well-developed community mental health team
• Collaborates with colleagues in Primary care and specialist mental health services
• Participates in the Consultant on call rota at New Craigs Hospital

Requirements

• Must be on the GMC specialist register in General Adult Psychiatry or within 6 months of award of CCT by date of interview
• Consideration can be given to appoint on a proleptic basis
• Availability supplement 3% for the Consultant on call rota

Qualifications

• On the GMC specialist register in General Adult Psychiatry
• Within 6 months of award of CCT by date of interview
• Proleptic appointment consideration

Skills

• Experience in delivering mental health services using digital technology
• Ability to work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals
• Experience in managing a Consultant on call rota

Pay

The salary range for this post is £111,430 - £148,064 pro rata per annum.
