About the role

The role involves consulting and implementing Vertafore’s product Surefyre, which equips agencies, MGAs, and carriers with the tools to streamline their insurance lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS implementation projects, from kickoff to user acceptance testing and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert with our products, capabilities, common use cases, methodology, and P&C business operations
  • Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS implementation projects from kickoff to user acceptance testing and delivery
  • Understand customer needs and translate them into configurable requirements
  • Work with the technical implementation team to ensure technical requirements are understood and completed
  • Estimate level of effort and required resources of project work
  • Develop strong professional relationships with key customer contacts
  • Collaborate with the product & engineering team to ensure relevant customer feedback is considered in the roadmap and feature/bug prioritization
  • Manage multiple consulting engagements concurrently
  • Perform operational assessment post-implementation to drive product adoption, improve business operations, refine best practices, identify new consultative opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Consultant in the P&C insurance industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a Professional Services organization
  • Strong knowledge of P&C insurance business practices and structure
  • Broad knowledge of policy administration systems, raters, and other insurance business applications
  • Experience managing or working with enterprise customers
  • Technical or non-technical software development or configuration experience

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal

$70,000 - $95,000 / year
