About the role

The Global Water Partnership Eastern Africa (GWPEA) is a regional arm of the Global Water Partnership (GWP) network. GWPEA supports countries in sustainable and integrated water resources management (IWRM). In line with strengthening its visibility, knowledge sharing, and strategic communication, GWPEA seeks a qualified consultant to support its communications and visual design efforts across ongoing and planned programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of content and visuals
• Contribute to communication strategies
• Strengthen media and stakeholder engagement
• Provide knowledge management and documentation services

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience in communications and visual design
• Strong understanding of IWRM principles and practices
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience in working with international organizations and/or governments
• Fluency in English

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Visual Arts, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
