Duties and responsibilities
- Create a positive team member experience.
- Respond to client inquiries and requests from state & local tax agencies.
- Travel to client locations as support for the team.
- Review documentation and research issues.
- Work with raw data to complete calculations.
- Draft documents such as information requests, applications, tax forms, client deliverables, and other correspondence.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, International Business, Real Estate, Economics, or Business Administration, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Preferred relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and up to three years of related business experience in economic development or the Governor’s office.
- Desire to perform in a high-energy team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet navigation and research.
Certificates And Licenses
- Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
- Standard indoor working environment.
- Occasional long periods of sitting or standing while working.
- Requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
- Independent travel requirement: 30 to 40%.
