About the Role

We are seeking a consultant who can operate in a blended Project Manager and Business Analyst role for healthcare and medtech engagements. This person will drive delivery planning, stakeholder alignment, governance, and execution while also leading business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, process mapping, backlog readiness, and user story development. The role is critical to ensuring delivery stays on track, scope is controlled, risks are actively managed, and business requirements are translated into implementable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with capability owners, product owners, business stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams to define scope, priorities, milestones, and delivery plans.
  • Build and maintain integrated project and release plans using tools such as MS Project, JIRA, and related planning tools.
  • Manage schedule dependencies, critical path, milestones, resource plans, and delivery risks across workstreams.
  • Track progress against roadmap commitments and provide clear updates to leadership, PMO, and governance forums.
  • Lead RAID management, issue resolution, decision tracking, and escalation management through closure.
  • Facilitate business requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and current-state/future-state process assessments.
  • Translate business needs into business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and backlog items.
  • Work with product owners and technical teams to maintain backlog health and ensure stories are refined 2–3 sprints ahead.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, demos, and release readiness activities.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks impacting backlog readiness, UAT, stakeholder decisions, and cross-team execution.
  • Coordinate UAT planning, defect triage, business sign-off, training support, and change readiness activities.
  • Develop stakeholder communications, status reporting, governance packs, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Maintain traceability across requirements, scope, risks, decisions, and deliverables.
  • Support onboarding of new team members and promote strong team operating rhythms.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery management, business process efficiency, and governance discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in project/program delivery, business analysis, consulting, or transformation roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in delivery tracking, integrated planning, RAID management, scope control, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong business analysis skills including workshop facilitation, requirement gathering, process mapping, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition.
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery models.
  • Working knowledge of project planning concepts such as critical path, slack/float, dependencies, and release planning.
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and standard collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with client leaders, business users, PMO, and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in healthcare, medtech, diagnostics, medical devices, or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with quality, validation, privacy, compliance, and documentation expectations in healthcare/medtech programs.
  • Exposure to digital transformation, analytics, AI-enabled solutions, or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Experience supporting global teams and North America-based client stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, CBAP, or equivalent are a plus.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

Benefits

  • Eligibility to participate in health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans from the first day of employment.
  • Eligibility to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment.
  • 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave.
  • Flexible "free time" PTO policy for sick time or vacation.
