About the role
The Construction & Trucking Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring accurate budgeting, timeline management, and job cost tracking. They will oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Manage payroll processes
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Support budgeting and financial planning
- Manage invoicing and collections
- Prepare financial statements and reports
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- CPA certification (preferred)
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices
- Experience with construction project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
