Construction Technician

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in preparing work sites
• Operates construction equipment
• Installs fuel product lines
• Pouring concrete tank pads
• Installing fuel dispensers
• Removal and replacement of concrete
• Piping tasks
• Performs general laborer duties

Requirements

• Passes a DOT physical
• Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and sit
• Able to use hands, fingers, handle or feel and reach out with hands and arms extensively
• Climbing stairs, ladders or sloped grades and walking on uneven terrain
• Ability to see up close and at a distance
• Ability to work outside in hot or cold or humid situations
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts and/or machinery and excessive noise
• An excellent driving record is required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
