Construction Technical Representative

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Technical Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves inspecting and documenting infrastructure projects, managing client relationships, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned tasks within schedule and budget
• Review and ensure the adequacy of budget and schedule with the project supervisor
• Follow applicable project procedures
• Perform construction observations and manage client relationships
• Contribute to strategic initiatives driving the growth of the construction group

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• AAS in Civil Technology, Surveying, Construction Management or related curriculum
• Current KDOT certifications or ability to obtain
• KDOT construction experience (plus)
• Knowledge of KDOT manuals, procedures, forms, and specifications
• Demonstrate high degree of organizational, computer, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for at least one year
• Safe motor vehicle record meeting company standards

Qualifications

• Under 21 years old, a clean motor vehicle record without any moving violations or chargeable accidents

Skills

• Technical proficiency in construction inspections
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
