Construction Surveillance Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining the security of the construction site by validating personnel access and ensuring compliance with ICD 705 requirements for secure areas.
• Implement screening and inspection procedures for both construction personnel and materials, routinely coordinating with the site security monitor to ensure secure spaces are cleared and secured before departing.
• Draft, maintain, and electronically file daily construction surveillance reports and photographs, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 standards for use in the security accreditation process.
• Install/application of TEMPEST Countermeasures (i.e. Radio Frequency (RF) etc.).
• Identify and report any security concerns or potential issues related to the construction of secure facilities.
• Work closely with the User’s security team to ensure the site remains compliant with security protocols and regulations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in at least one of the following areas: Construction Security Surveillance, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, Industrial or Government Security involving Counterintelligence, Construction Quality Assurance, Supervisory construction experience.
• Knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 requirements.
• Working knowledge of building and construction crafts.
• Proficiency in the use of photography, computers, and MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills & Abilities

• Completion of OSHA 10-Hr Safety Course, government-approved Construction Surveillance Technician course, and ICD 705 training preferred.
• Experience with AFCEC, USACE, NAVFAC, or DOS construction processes preferred.
• Experience with DoD/MILCON construction projects preferred.

Pay & Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Construction Surveillance Technician: $110,000 to $115,000 per year. Pay commensurate with experience.
