Construction Surveillance Technician
Amentum is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to conduct surveillance during construction to ensure that construction requirements are met and approved during the different phases of site preparation, construction, fit-out, and lockdown. The role ensures work is executed as designed and is free from security hazards at Offutt Air Force Base. CSTs shall provide surveillance whenever the construction site is accessed by construction laborers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance during construction phases to ensure compliance with design and security requirements.
- Monitor construction sites whenever accessed by laborers to prevent security hazards.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction security surveillance, construction quality assurance, or three (3) years of hands-on supervisory construction experience.
- Completed training and certification in security hazards and surveillance techniques (e.g., Department of State (DOS SE-630) or government-approved equivalent CST training certification course).
- State-issued driver’s license or permit (where applicable).
- No misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, acts of dishonesty, assault, battery, or felony convictions (nor any incurred while employed in this position).
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Capable of obtaining any required specialty license for operating equipment or vehicles on-site if needed.
- Must pass a physical examination within 35 days before assignment.
- Current immunizations meeting local requirements before assignment.
- Willingness to cooperate in testifying or submitting statements in administrative and criminal legal proceedings, if applicable.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Field position with no unusual hazards.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, and occasional running or sprinting.
- Capable of hearing ordinary conversation at 15 feet with either ear (with or without a hearing aid).
- Constant mental alertness, planning/organizing skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
Pay
$28.34 per hour. The compensation range or hourly rate listed is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
