Job Summary
Headwaters Construction Company is seeking a Construction Superintendent for its Temple Division. The Construction Superintendent coordinates operations and oversees workers/laborers at a construction site, supervising the physical construction of projects while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage a three-week rolling schedule
- Conduct and attend weekly coordination meetings
- Guarantee standards are met for quality construction
- Motivate and lead subcontractor tradesmen
- Provide expertise regarding construction means and methods
- Generate and monitor a punch list for each subcontractor
- Maintain a safe construction site at all times
Requirements
- 1 or more years of experience as a Superintendent
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management preferred
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
- Advanced understanding of trades
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate and lead effectively
