About the role
The Construction Manager / Site Superintendent will oversee and manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with subcontractors and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of planned field activities
- Interface with third parties related to construction activities
- Review construction specifications and drawings
- Aid in preparing a Subcontractor's bidder list for all construction contracts
- Evaluate construction bids and provide recommendations
- Coordinate and schedule required subcontractors for each project
- Determine the quantity and volume of materials needed, excavated, and disposed of, and timing of delivery
- Perform daily reporting of labor, equipment, and material utilization, along with daily production
- Review approved budget against actual job costs and production factors with the Program Manager
- Assist the management team in reviewing and approving subcontractor invoices
- Perform Health and Safety related activities
- Responsible for cost and schedule execution and reporting of construction activities including preparing and maintaining accurate daily notes, daily reports, and field logs
- Identify and manage change order conditions

- Capable of managing multiple tasks under time constraints

- Able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
- Flexible and willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Minimum of 8 – 12 years of experience in general construction with an emphasis on excavation, grading, and industrial wastewater treatment
- 40-Hr HAZWOPER or current 8-Hr HAZWOPER Refresher Certification
- Current CPR/First Aid training certification
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
