Higley Construction is a 100-year-old company known for its commitment to community and employee ownership. The Project Superintendent oversees projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver work results that consistently exceed corporate goals for profitability, schedule, quality, safety, and client relationship management.
  • Receive high ratings for client satisfaction, safety performance, and project execution.
  • Build a professional network to secure future business opportunities.
  • Write trade-specific scopes of work and manage project risks effectively.
  • Understand and manage project engineering requirements, and coordinate with the project engineer.
  • Handle difficult situations professionally and ensure all project stakeholders adhere to the schedule.
  • Manage all field coordination, including subcontractors, material suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Institute and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members comply with the safety plan.
  • Participate in meetings and run foreman/subcontractor meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least a four-year engineering, construction management, or construction-related degree or equivalent trade experience.
  • Engineering certifications (PE, OSHA, USGBC, CMAA, ASHE) are a plus.
  • At least five (5) years of construction experience with increasing responsibility.

Skills and Abilities

  • Competency in business writing and public presentation.
  • Excellent personal work habits and ability to lead by example.
  • Dedication to being a project leader.
  • Problem-solving skills and understanding of Higley Construction's values and ethics.
  • Knowledge of multiple construction software applications.

Job Requirements
