About the role

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent – Commercial Interiors in New York, New York to lead field operations on commercial construction projects throughout New York City. The Construction Superintendent – Commercial Interiors will oversee site activities, subcontractor coordination, project schedules, safety compliance, quality control, and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines are met
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
• Inspect work completed to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
• Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide updates
• Maintain accurate documentation, including schedules, logs, and reports
• Lead and mentor on-site teams to foster a productive work environment

Requirements

• Experience with managing on-site construction operations in the property industry
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
