Construction Superintendent

Whiting-Turner is a National ENR Top 25 General Contractor committed to fostering a positive and supportive work environment. We are seeking experienced field supervisors for various commercial projects in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects on time and exceed customer expectations
- Implement and maintain full control of all field matters
- Enforce safety protocols and adhere to schedules and quality standards
- Lead and mentor diverse teams
- Solve problems and resolve conflicts effectively
- Communicate verbally and in writing
- Show commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
- Manage financial impacts on site
- Interpret and implement technical specifications and drawings
Requirements
- 5 to 20+ years of industry experience
- Track record of delivering complex projects without delays
- Strong commitment to safety with OSHA 30 certification
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of construction principles and ambition to advance
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Practitioner of innovation and continuous improvement
- Experience with scheduling methodologies and software
- Experience managing financial impacts on site
- Ability to interpret and implement technical specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in construction management, construction technology, engineering, or engineering technology
Pay
The base salary range for this position is dependent on a variety of factors including role, level, education, experience, training, skills, abilities, location, and market and business considerations. Individual pay is determined through interviews and assessments of these factors.
