About the role
Whiting-Turner is a National ENR Top 25 General Contractor committed to fostering a positive and supportive work culture. We seek a Field Supervision candidate for various commercial projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects without delays while focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain full control of all field matters, ensuring safety, adherence to schedule, and quality expectations.
- Enforce safety protocols and hold certifications such as OSHA 30.
- Lead and mentor diverse teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Show commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage financial impacts on site and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
Requirements
- 5 to 20+ years of industry experience.
- Proven ability to manage field matters and enforce safety, schedule, and quality standards.
- Strong commitment to safety and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30).
- Leadership and mentoring skills within a diverse team.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of construction principles and ambition to advance professionally.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with scheduling methodologies and software.
- Experience managing financial impacts on site.
- Interpretation and implementation of technical specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in construction management, construction technology, engineering, or engineering technology.

Benefits
Base salary range: $75,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include profit sharing, appreciation rights, retirement compensation, travel subsistence, holiday contribution, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, healthcare (including dental and vision benefits), life insurance, disability insurance, and more. The annual base salary range is subject to change and does not affect the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $150,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including role, level, relevant education, experience, training, skills, abilities, location, and market and business considerations. Individual pay is determined through interviews and assessments of these factors.
