Construction Superintendent

Sandusky, OH – 12‑Month+ Project Assignment. Sevan Multi‑Site Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a long‑term commercial/institutional construction project in Sandusky, Ohio. The role covers on‑site construction activities from mobilization through closeout. Candidates outside the Sandusky area are encouraged to apply; Sevan provides company‑paid lodging, travel expenses, and a vehicle allowance for qualified non‑local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day‑to‑day field operations on a complex commercial/institutional construction project.
• Manage subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Drive project milestones through detailed planning and coordination.
• Conduct daily field meetings and weekly look‑ahead planning sessions.
• Coordinate inspections, turnover activities, and owner‑facing site meetings.
• Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent Sevan on‑site throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial or institutional construction experience.
• Experience serving as a Superintendent on ground‑up and/or major renovation projects.
• Strong concrete construction experience, including foundations, slab‑on‑grade, formwork, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement.
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).

Pay

$100,000 – $125,000+ based on experience.
