Construction Superintendent

We seek a self‑motivated individual with excellent communication skills, strong supervisory abilities, and a passion for exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and resolve punch list items.
• Perform final walk‑through with the customer.
• Secure a signed Certificate of Completion/Certificate of Satisfaction from the customer.
• Conduct pre‑construction meetings with the customer.
• Provide daily project updates (narrative) to customers and clients.
• Schedule subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and scope requirements.
• Document all project activities in the job book.
• Execute change orders and set project‑by‑project expectations.
• Maintain quality standards through site inspections.
• Evaluate and rate all vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Ensure material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased.
• Verify subcontractors complete work according to their scopes.
• Validate schedule and progress.
• Identify areas outside of contracted scope of work.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Superb customer service track record.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in restoration, mitigation, and/or construction preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Good driving record.

Physical Demands & Competencies

• Walking and/or standing throughout the day.
• Frequent driving and sitting.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat.
• Potentially loud noise levels at job sites.

Pay

Compensation: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per week

Schedule

• 8‑hour shift
• Full‑time
• Work location: In‑person, San Francisco Bay Area, CA (relocation required before start)
