Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all field operations, coordinating labor, materials, and equipment for efficient execution.
  • Leadership and direction of foremen, subcontractors, and onsite personnel to ensure productivity and performance.
  • Tight communication between field staff, project management, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Creation, monitoring, and maintenance of master schedules and look-aheads to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Enforcement and promotion of all safety protocols, ensuring full OSHA and regulatory compliance.
  • Regular site visits, safety meetings, inspections, and audits to maintain site safety and compliance.
  • Ensuring all work meets quality standards, design intent, and building codes, resolving issues promptly.
  • Procurement planning and material logistics for timely delivery, proper storage, and availability.
  • Growth and maintenance of a strong subcontractor and supplier network for better collaboration, pricing, and quality.
  • Implementation of creative solutions to improve efficiency, lift productivity, and reduce cost without compromising quality.
  • Delivery of timely updates and alignment of teams as the primary liaison for field operations.
  • Resolution of field challenges, delays, and conflicts through effective, on-the-ground problem-solving.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of all field work, inspections, and safety issues according to company and legal standards.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • At least 5 years as a Construction Superintendent in multifamily or similar construction.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification.
  • Proven experience managing field operations on large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • A solid understanding of local building codes and construction regulations in the Boise area.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Schedule

Full-time work.

Pay

$110,000 - $140,000 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
