Construction Superintendent
About the role
Rockford is seeking a Superintendent to oversee dynamic projects. The role involves managing all field operations, supervising laborers, trade contractors, field engineers, and craft workers. Key responsibilities include leadership, communication, and fostering a collaborative, safe, and innovative work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent years of experience
- Experience managing residential and commercial projects
- Lead or significant involvement in managing construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage logistical and complex jobs
- First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA training
- Ability to read and understand complex documents and blueprints
Skills & Experience
- Experience in leading large-scale education projects
- Procore experience
- MS Project training/certification
- Knowledge of CSI format

- Hazards typically found on construction sites
- Potential physical hazards such as noise, moving vehicles, challenging atmospheric conditions, confined spaces, uneven surfaces, and elevated areas
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times while outside the job trailer
- Occasional visits to the corporate office and job site trailer
- Physical demands requiring the ability to sit for extended periods
