About the role
This is a 1-year W-2 contract assignment for a Construction Superintendent overseeing QA/QC on a battery storage project. The role includes safety oversight, materials receiving, and inspection of mechanical and electrical construction. You will provide technical and budgetary support, review contract documents, and monitor contractor work. The project is likely located in Georgia or Mississippi, with approximately 25% travel within the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop routing criteria, ensuring compliance with cost, engineering, and environmental considerations, and coordinate between technical teams.
- Provide oversight for route refinement, value engineering, and permitting activities.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across Engineering & Construction, Environmental Services, Legal, Development, and Land.
- Apply functional understanding of routing criteria, including cost, engineering concerns, and environmental constraints.
- Use value engineering or similar concepts to improve criteria for late-stage activities such as permitting before construction.
- Conduct field visits to verify and support pre-construction preparation for energy projects.
Requirements
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 11 or more years of experience managing technical aspects of routing, siting, and construction projects.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $50.00/hr. to $55.00/hr., dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills.
