About The Role
As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. You’ll lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and serve as the on-site representative ensuring clear communication between project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily job site operations, safety, scheduling, and quality control
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Ensure projects are built according to plans, specifications, and company standards
- Lead daily and weekly project meetings with subcontractors and project management
- Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule or field challenges
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and inspections
- Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and trade partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
- Proven success managing projects over $5 million in value
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and safety protocols
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (Procore experience a plus)
- OSHA certification preferred
