Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Determine field personnel needs and assign work based on the project.
• Schedule and coordinate activities of field personnel and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate all phases of the project with Project and Operations Managers.
• Inspect, approve, and report all labor time.
• Maintain jobsite safety and address safety deficiencies.
• Conduct weekly "Toolbox Talks" and maintain associated reports.
• Investigate and report accidents or incidents to relevant parties.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations including safety, health, and welfare.
• Train field personnel in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Create and maintain cost/labor reports, field P.O.'s, and rental logs.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
• Arrange for repairs/replacements as necessary.
• Routinely inspect the construction site and work progress to ensure compliance with contract specifications and company standards.

Requirements

• 10 years of field construction experience.
• Osha 30 certification preferred.
