Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily field construction activities
• Supervise subcontractors, trade partners, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance
• Cover material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and project documentation
• Partner with Project Managers on scheduling, budgets, and change orders
• Resolve field issues, conflicts, and construction challenges
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction supervision experience in commercial, industrial, or related environments
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience with construction management and scheduling tools such as Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
