About the role
The Construction Superintendent plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and completion of projects, interacting with and overseeing sub-contractors, and protecting customer interests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure project goals are met on time and with high quality
- Monitor labor, material, contractors, and suppliers
- Aid the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and under budget
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, client, and company safety standards
- Assist with the transition between engineering and Project Manager
- Coordinate with governmental regulatory agencies for field inspections
- Maintain current working knowledge of project technologies
- Perform all duties as directed by management
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Inspect work regularly to ensure compliance with design specifications and ESCO standards
- Identify and address deficiencies or potential risks proactively
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation
- Aid in preparing change orders and tracking project costs
Requirements
- Five (5) years’ related construction experience
- Associates degree in construction-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment
Qualifications
- 10 or more years’ related construction experience
Skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
- Proficiency in project management software

Flexible schedule to accommodate frequent travel (75 to 100%) including overnight stays.
