About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities across assigned projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented leader who can manage subcontractors, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
- Coordinate project timelines and monitor schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Direct subcontractors, site workers, and vendors to ensure project goals are met.
- Foster a safety-first culture; conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to company and site-specific protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and photos using Procore.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
- Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Schedule deliveries and usage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Resolve conflicts, delays, or unexpected issues on-site promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent or construction supervisory role.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Construction Management preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
- Experienced in Procore or similar construction management platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, safety protocols, and project sequencing.
- OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications required.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
- May require standing, walking, and climbing on active construction sites for extended periods.
- Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to meet deadlines.
