Construction Superintendent

About the role

Cornestone Construction Group is seeking an Experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Influence others and lead a team-oriented environment
• Direct and schedule multiple trades
• Read blueprints and keep up on daily and weekly reports
• Maintain high levels of communication
• Meet quality control standards
• Maintain job site binders
• Update and finalize as-builts
• Prepare job closeout documents
• Coordinate all site construction activities
• Supervise all trade and field personnel
• Administer good construction safety practices
• Maintain the job site office
• Closes out projects

Requirements

• Professional attitude and outstanding communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes
• Proven safety record with OSHA requirements
• Excellent computer skills, including MS-Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
• Positive attitude and team player

Qualifications

Must have a professional winning attitude and outstanding communication skills with the ability to maintain excellent relationships with inspectors, subcontractors, architects, and owner representatives. A thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local building codes.

• Procore knowledge a plus
