Construction Superintendent
Clark's Alpena office is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution on healthcare projects across Northern Michigan—from surgical suites to phased hospital renovations. This role is critical for ensuring infection control, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity in occupied healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily execution in occupied healthcare facilities
- Coordinate phasing around clinical operations
- Enforce ICRA and infection control protocols
- Manage trade sequencing and schedule adherence
- Maintain documentation and daily reporting
- Conduct weekly trade coordination meetings
- Drive quality closeout and inspection readiness
- Build strong relationships with facility operations teams
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Superintendent
- Healthcare construction experience preferred
- Strong MEP coordination capability
- Deep understanding of infection control and phased work
- Disciplined leadership in 24/7 environments
- Commitment to safety and operational awareness
- Proficiency with Phoenix, ProjectSight, Bluebeam
