Construction Site Superintendent - CMTA Energy Solutions
About the role
CMTA, a Legence Company, is one of the fastest growing engineering firms in the U.S., with nationally recognized expertise in sustainable, high-performance building engineering. The team leverages a data-driven, holistic approach to consulting engineering, performance contracting, and zero energy projects. The core business of the Energy Solutions division is the delivery of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) — a budget-neutral or budget-positive way to upgrade and renovate facilities by diverting utility spend into facility upgrades covering scope development, design, bidding, construction management, commissioning, measurement and verification, and ongoing energy management services. CMTA has experience designing the nation’s most energy efficient buildings, including many zero energy buildings.
Legence (Nasdaq: LGN) is a leading provider of engineering, consulting, installation, and maintenance services for mission-critical systems in buildings, specializing in complex HVAC, process piping, and other MEP systems. The company serves over 60% of the Nasdaq-100 Index.
The Construction Site Superintendent ensures smooth and successful contract fulfillment after the design phase. This role requires experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction, plus strong verbal and written communication skills. The superintendent works with administrative staff, other superintendents, engineers, and design team members. During heavy construction, the superintendent is on-site full time; during other periods, work may be office-based or remote. Travel to job sites is required.
