About the role

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of Guaranteed Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs).

Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings
  • Auxiliary with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection
  • Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit required milestones on schedule
  • Create project safety binder and review with subcontractors
  • Administer safety program
  • Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.)
  • Lead construction review meetings
  • Document progress weekly for the Owner
  • Aid in the commissioning effort
  • Register applicable equipment for warranties
  • Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out, and submitted as required for warranties
  • Support Owner training – scheduling, coordination, etc.
  • Address project issues
  • Resolve warranty issues as needed
  • Develop O&M manuals and as-builts

Requirements

  • Experience with both HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Pay

Pay ranges are determined based on relevant job-related factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as geographic and market considerations.

Schedule

Travel is required to job sites. During heavy construction, the Construction Site Superintendent is on-site at all times. During other project periods, they may not have to be on-site every day and can work at the office or possibly remotely to assist with other projects not in the heavy construction period.
