Position Summary
The SSHO serves as the onsite safety leader and is responsible for implementing and enforcing project safety programs in accordance with: EM 385-1-1, OSHA standards, Accident Prevention Plans (APP), Contract requirements, and RQC Safety Management System. This role works closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain a safe, compliant, and productive jobsite.
Responsibilities

- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
- Ensure adherence to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations
- Work with project teams to develop and implement accident prevention plans
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and RQC Safety Management System
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- 5+ years of construction safety experience at the jobsite level
- Experience with NAVFAC, USACE, DoD, or federal construction projects preferred
- Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations
- Certified Competent Person and/or experience in fall protection, excavation/trenching, confined spaces, electrical safety, scaffolding, and PP&E
- Documented safety training averaging 24 hours annually over the past 5 years
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with RMS, QCS, or Viewpoint preferred
Requirements
- OSHA 30-Hour certification within the last 5 years
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 annually (DOE)
