About the role
The Construction Services Coordinator/Controller at Flint Hills Resources Pine Bend Refinery in Rosemount, MN supports the safe, reliable, and cost-effective execution of construction and maintenance activities across the refinery.
Responsibilities
- Own contractor administration processes, systems, and governance requirements supporting refinery construction and maintenance activities.
- Administer contractor management systems, including TRACK, to support contractor onboarding, compliance, workforce management, and business operations.
- Provide oversight of contractor compliance, onboarding, staffing approvals, and performance management activities.
- Review and approve contractor and vendor invoices, purchase orders, and commercial requests while ensuring financial accuracy and stewardship.
- Administer contractor business controls, work order processes, and governance requirements that support safe and effective execution.
- Partner with contractors, operations, maintenance, procurement, and leadership teams to align work execution and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain contractor performance, financial, and operational metrics to support informed decision-making.
- Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities impacting contractor performance, business results, and cost effectiveness.
- Lead audits and reviews of contractor administration, financial controls, and operational processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and business performance.
Requirements
- Experience supporting contractor administration, construction services, maintenance execution, project controls, business operations, or related industrial functions.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects, work activities, or business priorities.
- Experience using business systems, reporting tools, or data analysis to support operational or business decisions.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships across contractors, operations, maintenance, and leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, reporting, or business analytics capabilities.
- Experience conducting audits, supporting compliance programs and creating budgets.
- Experience to analyze contractor performance, workforce trends, and cost data to drive business improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement sustainable business controls.
Skills
- Contractor administration experience, including TRACK.
- Experience managing contractor commercial agreements, invoices, purchase orders, or financial controls.
- Experience conducting audits, supporting compliance programs and creating budgets.
- Experience to analyze contractor performance, workforce trends, and cost data to drive business improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and implement sustainable business controls.
Benefits
This role is eligible for a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, with the possibility of variable pay. Specific details may vary by geographic region.
