About the role

The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage multiple projects and/or multiple Project Managers, develop and maintain working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other agencies of the project team, and manage, supervise and be responsible for all project budgets and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects and/or multiple Project Managers
  • Maintain project communication hierarchy and protocol between project team
  • Create and issue bid manuals
  • Plan and implement all procurement of materials and services for each project
  • Create scope of work assignments for each subcontractor and vendor
  • Create contracts with vendors and suppliers
  • Manage subcontractor/vendor payment process
  • Prepare cost projections and cash flow reports
  • Manage subcontractor change order process, including tracking, budgeting and issuance of change orders
  • Manage all project team members
  • Create, maintain and manage project schedules
  • Schedule and attend all job meetings
  • Manage Project closeout and Subcontractor closeout procedures
  • Prepare proposals for project pursuits (technical writing)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ project management and/or subcontractor supervision experience
  • OSHA 30 Hour Certified
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); subcontractor agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; estimating, schedules and safety required
  • Familiarity of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential
  • Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel
  • Proficient with Bluebeam
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work at various locations
  • Ability to work well with diverse, multi-disciplined groups
