About the Role

This is an onsite role based in Tampa Bay, FL. As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead a multi-phased, multi-year renovation project, ensuring its successful completion within the stipulated timeframe and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong industry relationships internally and externally, representing the Colliers project management brand.
  • Lead a multi-phased, multi-year renovation project, working closely with the client to ensure successful completion.
  • Establish a pathway to project success based on key performance indicators defined by stakeholders.
  • Oversee high-rise structural concrete restoration projects.
  • Create the project roadmap, guiding the team from initial concept to final close-out.
  • Carve out a key role in developing a local project management presence.
  • Manage multiple trades and coordinate with building tenants.
  • Ensure smooth project execution through excellent communication and coordination.
  • Resolve issues as they arise, addressing potential deviations in the schedule and budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/Construction/Project Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Design/Construction/Project Management.
  • Experience working on projects requiring milestone certifications and waterproofing.
  • Extensive knowledge of design processes, construction, and project management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and industry-specific software such as Bluebeam, CAD, or Revit.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and technical specifications.
  • Experience leading and directing a variety of vendors and providing critical thinking in problem-solving.
  • Experience in maintaining team spirit and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with business development strategies and industry relationships.

  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Passionate about construction and project management.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
