About the role

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in Las Vegas, NV. The role demands a keen sense of observation, the ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Physical ability is essential — you will be moving throughout your entire shift, patrolling assigned locations.

Schedule

Grave/Day Mix: 5 pm–5 am Thursday; 5 pm–5 am Saturday & Sunday.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $19/hour (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service as top priority
• Professionally answer all phone calls that come through the site
• Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at assigned location
• Provide rapid response in critical situations
• Read and write detailed reports, especially on rude guests or residents
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards
• Conduct regular area patrols by vehicle and foot
• Provide critical access control by checking IDs, answering phones, using computers, and handling deliveries as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of security experience in a construction setting
• Current PILB (Private Investigator License Board) card
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient with computers and other electronic systems
• Ability to work holidays as scheduled
• Alert with excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Strong work ethic
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have high-end HOA experience (not a will-train position)
