About the role

SERVPRO Team Shaw is one of the largest SERVPROs in the Country and has grown from one location in 2020 to 33 locations today across three major markets. We assisted over 5000+ customers with water and fire emergencies across the DFW and Texas. We are a full turnkey provider for our customers doing everything from Water and Fire Emergency Services, Moving and Storage of Contents, and Textile Cleaning all the way to Reconstruction.

We are seeking someone who is great on the phone, has excellent analytical skills, is detail-oriented, and is a serious multi-tasker. If you are self-motivated and have superb interpersonal skills, then you’ll thrive in this work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Claim putting together job files assimilate and validate that all documentation has been received from the field
  • Put together estimates for customers and insurance through insurance software and prepare job file reports as needed
  • Handle job close-outs by completing and executing job file documentation for insurance and/or customer
  • Coordinate and manage any claim disputes with Insurance Carriers
  • Handle insurance claims, etc., are handled with care and ensure customers are satisfied with Team Shaw service with no gaps in communication
  • Ensure adjuster communication is constant and transparent for maximum adjuster comfort regarding claims
  • Handle associated jobs to ensure integrity of the file and that the job is closed out properly and ready for invoicing
  • Manage escalated customer issues, resolving complex problems, and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the resolutions
  • Providing coordination and process management for the customer through their insurance claim

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative or office-related experience
  • 2+ years of insurance-related experience using Xactimate is preferred
  • Experience with writing estimates, job file processes, and quality assurance a plus
  • Experience in the service industry environment, specifically emergency services (water/fire restoration), a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone at all times
  • Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during tense or stressful situations
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Schedule

40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required
