About the role
The Production Manager serves as the primary face and representative of the company, managing all aspects of the customer experience and vendor relationship from post-sale through final installation. This position assesses job sites to evaluate the efficacy of the original home remodeling agreement.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement management policies and operating practices.
- Inspect and evaluate all aspects of the proposed site/project to determine the scope of work and viability of the intended project.
- Advise customers on financing and possible changes to scope.
- Create precise measurements at each job site to avoid problems with custom-ordered products, preventing financial losses and negative customer experiences.
- Confirm post-inspection and on an ongoing basis that the agreement between the company and customer appropriately defines the work plan, identifies alternative courses of action, and negotiates changes to the plan without prior supervisor approval.
- Select and manage the procurement of all job materials, ensuring specifications protect the company from unnecessary financial loss.
- Analyze legal requirements related to licensing, permitting, and Homeowner’s Association compliance; negotiate compliance and independently obtain permits from government agencies.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance regarding safety and health.
- Complete administrative tasks in the office and assist in the warehouse to stage products for delivery.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and drive to, from, and between job sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Construction Management experience.
- Polished and professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer service.
- Self-motivation, discipline, and an ambitious, competitive nature.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful problem-solving abilities and highly evolved customer service skills.
- A personality and skill set that is scalable, with promotion and managerial potential as the department and company grow.
