Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee the completion of activities across all stages of the project lifecycle for facilities-related construction projects.
- Inspect the work of contractors to ensure it meets design specifications and building codes.
- Enter contract status and other project data into MAXIMO or similar IT systems.
- Prepare and disseminate project communications with various stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of project plans and in the evaluation of project solicitations, proposals, and change requests.
- Conduct pre-bid and pre-construction site visits.
- Validate invoices for payment.
- Help compile Contractor Performance Reports (CPR) after contract closure.
Requirements
- Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of project management and construction experience.
- Five years of experience managing technical aspects of commercial or government interior design or construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of building codes and ADA requirements.
- Working knowledge of Information Technology, mechanical, electrical, or communication systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project software.
- Experience gathering and defining design requirements, creating or reviewing design documents, and managing project budgets.
- Ability to interact with personnel at all organizational levels and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a classified environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Project Manager certification.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
