About the role
The Professional Project Manager – Mid Level will be responsible for various phases of projects including initiation, acquisition, design, construction, and project closeout. Duties include working closely with customers and facilities teams, coordinating environmental requirements, providing technical reviews, managing project finances, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements with customer and facilities teammates, plan and budget projects, and ensure project programming.
- Assist with contract procurement, answer RFP questions, attend site visits, participate in pre-bid conferences, and manage contract amendments.
- Provide design reviews, code compliance reviews, constructability reviews, and cost analysis.
- Monitor project tasks and schedules, identify and resolve issues, and compile defect lists.
- Manage project submittals, conduct inspections, and oversee commissioning services.
- Perform post-occupancy evaluations, close out financial accounts, and archive project information.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out plans, and assist with system installation and relocation.
- Ensure compliance with physical abilities standards and maintain overview of project details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BEng/BArch) or 10 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in one of the specified disciplines.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification preferred.
- Knowledge of construction disciplines and financial principles.
- Ability to maintain overview of projects and handle detailed technicalities independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong leadership and project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications
- Must have a security clearance.
