Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the assigned project, including production, invoicing, budget, and client relations; to ensure compliance with the project contract
  • Develops and manages schedule, change orders, project procedures, and equipment resources needed to complete accurate and timely project production
  • Develops and manages the project manpower and milestones for each phase of production, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of project objectives
  • Engages with all relevant stakeholders proactively, including business partners, general contractors, customers and regulatory bodies that will have influence over project success
  • Coordinates with operations team to identify project risk and negotiate change orders with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective project production
  • Supports and promotes project safety by ensuring compliance with the project safety program and required owner safety
  • Reviews weekly safety reports and participates in monthly safety review meetings with project personnel
  • Reviews and approves manpower and equipment needs for efficient and effective project production
  • Negotiates dispute and provides resolutions with the relevant stakeholders
  • Provides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient and effective project production
  • Leads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and working with management to resolve any project claims
  • Leads project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion
  • Conducts post project evaluation and identifies successful and unsuccessful project elements

  • Strong, inherent ability and drive to negotiate terms of agreement for project work, budget and fund recovery in the project’s best interest
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a construction project management role with private and public works construction projects
  • Demonstrated ability to take accurate field measurements, take-offs
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 products, internet, estimating software
  • Ability to read and interpret jobsite drawings, blueprints, and maps
  • Valid CA Driver License and good driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand, walk and talk or The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25

Pay

USD $95,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
