About the role

We're hiring for a Project Manager to join our Building Envelope High-Rise Restoration Division office in Hawthorne, NJ and serve the Greater NYC metro area. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be accountable for managing large, self-perform, complex building envelope repair and facade restoration projects.

Responsibilities

  • Generating innovative repair solutions for building envelope and façade restoration projects
  • Providing strong field management to self-perform crews and subcontractors
  • Negotiating contracts and material purchases
  • Developing budgets, creating schedules, evaluating production rates, financial forecasting and other project related administration
  • Demonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projects
  • Maintaining involvement in uncovering sales opportunities with prospective and existing customers in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing façade restoration projects and/or building envelope repair projects in New York City
  • Project management experience with NYC and NYS public agencies such as NYCHA, SCA, DASNY, and DDC
  • Understanding of various swing stage systems or other methods of high-rise access
  • Previous experience working for a self-performing contractor
  • Proven track record managing construction projects up to $50M
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Primavera P6, BIM 360, and project forecasting tools
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) or work on out-of-town projects
