Construction Project Manager (Heavy Civil, Asphalt Paving)

Responsibilities

• Manage asphalt paving, roadway, resurfacing, and site development projects within an assigned regional territory.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Cook up project activities with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
• Review contracts, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain a watchful eye on project performance, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, projections, and project updates for leadership.
• Support preconstruction, estimating, and business development efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within asphalt paving, roadway, transportation, or heavy civil construction.
• A strong understanding of paving operations, sitework, grading, and roadway construction.
• Experience managing public and private sector projects.
• Knowledge of FDOT specifications and standards preferred.
• Proven success managing project budgets, schedules, and field teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
