Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
Job Summary
Oversees and manages development projects and provides guidance with the scope of work for all new construction and refurbishment projects. Partners with Development Team and manages projects and construction inquiries.
Role And Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the overall project management strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Leads the planning and execution of complex, multi-site development projects.
- Oversees and mentors a team of site supervisors and coordinators, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Directs the tracking and execution of all new development projects.
- Manages the process of purchase of materials, tracks invoices, o.’s and payments to contractors and vendors.
- Provides updated communications to the campus and support staff.
- PARTNERS WITH THE DEVELOPMENT/CONSTRUCTION TEAM IN THE OBTAINING OF BIDS AND CONTRACTOR SELECTION FOR PROJECTS.
- Partners with architects, interior designers, and external consultants to ensure design and execution excellence.
- Maintains document administration and project spend-down.
- PROVIDES EXECUTIVE-LEVEL REPORTING AND INSIGHTS TO SENIOR LEADERSHIP ON PROJECT PORTFOLIO HEALTH, RISKS, AND OPPORTUNITIES.
- SERVES AS THE PRIMARY LIASON BETWEEN DEVELOPMENT, FINANCE, AND OPERATIONS TEAMS.
- ASSISTS WITH PROJECT BUDGET DEVELOPMENT AND AIDS PROJECT SUPERVISORS AND COORDINATORS.
- PARTNERS WITH DEVELOPMENT FIXED ASSET/NW CONSTRUCTION AP COORDINATOR TO ENSURE THAT ALL INVOICES ARE SUBMITTED AND PAID TIMELY.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor Degree or experience in the field.
- Experience: 5-10 years in the Construction Industry.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
