About The Role
The Construction Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development projects at Famicos Foundation. Reporting to the Real Estate Development Director, this role contributes across the full project lifecycle—including feasibility, design, financing, and construction—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of real estate development within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Real Estate Development Director to evaluate new development and acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct and review project feasibility analyses, including market studies and environmental reports.
- Aid in preparing and managing development budgets, including cost estimates, bid evaluations, and financial tracking.
- Support project financing activities, including applications for tax abatements, grants, and other funding sources.
- Cook up and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout design, preconstruction, and construction phases.
- Participate in entitlement processes, including zoning reviews, planning commission submissions, and community meetings.
- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Review and process construction draws, invoices, and funding requests in collaboration with accounting and project partners.
- Track and report on project status, including budgets, timelines, risks, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams including asset management, property management, and community engagement.
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including City of Cleveland requirements.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or project management.
- Familiarity with affordable housing development, public funding sources, and regulatory processes preferred.
- Experience working with contractors, architects, and municipal agencies.
