Construction Project Manager 5
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
About the role
In this role, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, driving improvements in production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency. This is a 100% on-site role requiring you to track construction progress and support Schedule, Cost, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and General Contractor management activities.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability and energy to get the job done. You will be working 40 hours per week and must use specific safety equipment, including a Class 2 Safety Helmet, cut and impact-resistant gloves, and a Class 2 or higher reflective jacket suitable for cold and wet weather. Familiarity with Bluebeam and P6 software is necessary if you have experience with P6.
Responsibilities
- Implement measures to motivate employees and enhance production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.
- Review operations and work with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing issues.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.
- Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
- Track construction site activities with 600+ active employees.
- Track schedule milestones to minimize project delays.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in construction and cost control.
- Over 8 years of experience tracking construction site activities with 600+ active employees.
- Over 8 years of experience tracking schedule milestones to minimize project delays.
- Experience in construction management on Hyperscale Data Centers is ideal.
Skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Understanding of machines and tools, including their design, usage, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $105.00/hr.
