Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Actively promotes and strengthens our core values and culture of Mission First, People Always through everyday actions and decisions
- Provide exceptional, first class customer service
- Aid in the execution and management of project contracts
- Create and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports
- Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the project team, including the Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and other subcontractors
- Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation throughout all phases of the project, including requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out documents, etc.
- Perform material take-offs from drawings to assist in generating estimates and changes
- Show attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of the work
- Maintain flexibility with assigned work environment and project locations
- Attend and conduct meetings as required
- Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; OR 2 years’ prior experience in related field via internships, co-ops, and/or industry employment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software
- Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal communication, attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills
Physical Demands
- Working in office, with occasional entry into shop, busy traffic areas, and warehouses
- Occasional exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to safely access all areas of property
- Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment
