Responsibilities
- Aid in all aspects of project implementation as needed
- Create and participate in meetings and presentations with executive leadership
- Obtain multiple bids from competing contractors by creating scopes of work
- Perform job walk-downs with vendors, engineers, supervisors, and managers
- Work with the purchasing department to ensure vendors are approved, vetted, and insured
- Review plans and other technical documents
- Answer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the project
- Maintain control of all project documentation
- Create, manage, and track Request for Information (RFI) from the field to the architect/engineer of record
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any engineering discipline
- Experience with facilities within an aerospace industry
- Familiarity with space planning procedures and operations
- Knowledge of computer applications and ability to navigate through different software programs
- Effective communication skills for relaying data (verbally and in writing) between employees, vendors, and customers
- Logical and strategic approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction
Qualifications
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support critical mission milestones
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Skills
Preferred skills include:
- Experience with facilities within an aerospace industry
- Familiarity with space planning procedures and operations
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to easily navigate through different computer software programs
- Effective communication skills for relaying data (verbally and in writing) between other employees, vendors, and customers

Pay
Pay Range: California $104,960—$170,846 USD
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand

Export Control Compliance Status
The person hired will have access to information and items subject to U.S. export controls, and therefore, must either be a “U.S. person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing.
