Construction Project Engineer - AECOM Hunt

About the role

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to be based in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
• Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
• Participating in site visits
• Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
• Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
• Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
• Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
• Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Construction Management or similar discipline
• Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Prior Internship experience within the construction industry; Experience working on a live construction site; Experience engaging with multiple trades on a construction project

Pay

The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $24.95 to $43.66 per hour.
